why would you even mention high fructose sugars and concentrated glucose? i said nothing about those. they are not pure cane sugar which is what i was clearly talking about. cocaine is a stimulant. sugar is not. cocaine doesn't do anything that sugar does and vice versa. your body needs sugars but does not need cocaine. you could compare cocaine to wheat and/or dairy since they contain opioid peptides and are proven to be addictive.

True acid reflux (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease) can't be gotten rid of. It can be helped by various kinds of surgeries and medications that are determined by a gastrologist. I'm not trying to be the barrier of bad tidings--- I'm being honest with you.

your body also produces opioid peptides. Need to learn a new one there, champ.

I just got the feeling you were defending sugars. So many things break down into glucose that you really don't need it at all.
You probably werent, but you deflected people from sugar in candy bars to its other processed ingredients in another comment. when the fact is Sugar is an empty calorie and even in fruit, it is only applauded because of the other things in the fruit. not the Sugar itself.

you would have upper stomach pain (esophageal) after eating, probably be burping alot.
You could take antacids (maalox, mylanta), also H2-antagonists like Tagamet and Zantac (both OTC), or a proton-pump inhibitor like Prilosec (also OTC)

heartburm is caused by an overproduction of stomach acid, oddly enough, raw, unpastuerized apple cider vinegar, about 1 teaspoon in a glass of water or apple juice will neutralize that..sounds weird, but have tried it, it works..good luck..
you can add a bit of honey too...

Eliminate the foods that set off your reflux. For me it's citrus, processed tomato products (like tomato sauce, tomato juice; I can eat fresh tomatoes and make my own sauce), spicy things, things like salame, fried foods. And stress makes it worse (no coffee, no onions). If I avoid the things that set off my reflux, I don't need to take an antacid and I sleep like a baby with no problem. Try not to eat or drink anything but water for several hours before bed.
