My acid reflux actually splashes all the way up to the back of my throat, and it’s alot. When this happens more often I tend to have this burning feeling when I swallow as though I had just drank bleach. How can I heal that faster??
I’m on NEXIUM already and it did get better then it got worse.

What symptons did you have of acid reflux?

dreamee asked:

I have a burning in my chest that started about four days ago, Ive been to the ER and was told that I had arthritis in my ribs but now I’ve been told by another doctor that it’s acid reflux. The only symptom I have is rib burning, which started after taking Amoxicillin.

Can acid reflux makes your upper throat feel full?

Cactus Jack asked:

I’ve been asking a lot of questions lately on acid reflux because people here have been a great help.

Just wondering if acid reflux can make your upper throat feel full and if it can make you feel like you are having food stuck in the back of your mouth (where the throat/mouth meet).

Does anyone have thie experience?

Also, do people find apple juice helps? I was told it does.

Sensitive Teeth Caused By Acid Reflux?

mrsrickman_forever asked:

I’m sorry, this might be a little complicated, but I’d really appreciate some help.
My teeth have been very sensitive lately. it feels like my whole mouth stings and my teeth hurt so bad they all feel like they all have cavities in them. But I know they don’t. I brush my teeth daily with an extra soft crest spinbrush, recently saw my dentist a couple weeks ago and he checked my teeth and he said my teeth were fine. He even took 5 x rays of my mouth. So I know don’t have cavities or gingivitis (’cause cavities take a while to appear, and this has only been happening for about 3 days.)
Then when I was talking to my best friend last night, she asked me if maybe one of my medications could be causing the problem, so I did an investigation, and found that one of my medications, Spironalactone, (I take it because I have too much testosterone in my system and I get thick dark man ****** hair. This stuff helps to remove it.) has acid reflux listed as a side effect. (I have had problems with acid reflux before I was on this medication, I even had to go to the hospital when I first got reflux because it burned so bad. I did see a specialist for it and gave me some medication,) Now here’s my question/problem. Everytime I take my spironalactone and get a reflux attack (or just get a reflux/heartburn attack in general) my teeth sting like crazy. What can I do to make this cycle stop? All I really have to stop the pain is sensodyne for my stinging teeth and my prevacid for my reflux. Is my Spironalactone the root of this vicious cycle? And if it is, what should I do? (*I do get electrolysis treatments for my manly ****** hair, so if I stopped taking the Spironalactone it wouldn’t make any hair grow back) I’d appreciate ANY AND ALL feedback! Thanks so much!!!

What is the treatment for a cyst?

Rico asked:

I have a friend who has just been diagnosed as having a cyst. It was causing acid reflux and she couldn’t sleep laying down. The doctor is saying “let’s wait and see if it goes away on it’s own”. Is this a good course of treatment? I there something she can do on her own to help the situation?

How can I help my acid reflux ?

danceloveguitar asked:

I am a teen who suffers from acid reflux. I am not over weight, and I usually eat healthy. I also exercise 5 times a week & drink plenty of water. I had acid reflux as a baby, and have started having it as a teen. Before going on medication, my doctor says I should try natural ways, to avoid those nasty medications. I really dont want to go on them! Any suggestions on how I can naturally cure my acid reflux?
